3 - 18 months

Your baby is introduced to a development program that focus on Tummy time, Sensory Development, Fine Motor skills, Hand-Eye Co-ordination and Language Development.  As soon as your child reached the next important milestone (walking a few steps) the focus is more on balancing and gross motor development

18months - 2.5 years

Through play techniques we help your child to reach a very important milestone - potty training. Creative art activities are used to practice the correct way to hold a crayon/paintbrush.  The play equipment in this class helps to develop reasoning, gross-and fine motor skills.

2.5 - 3 years

This class is your child's first step towards a formal development program as prescribed in the National Curriculum Framework.  Their morning starts with concentration exercises. Through the story-method mathematical concepts are introduced.  Their fine motor skills are developed through various crafting activities.

3 - 4 years

In this class your child starts with the next important skill: correct handling of scissors and cutting on a straight line.  Learning through play makes mathematical concepts, concentration and language development a fun experience.

4 - 5 years

This is the last phase before your child starts Grade R. We focus on developing fine motor skills (draw simplistic pictures, cut on curved lines and coloring in smaller areas).  More emphasis is placed on the different sounds (alphabet) and they learn to write their own name

From Term 3 they are introduced to Afrikaans (speak

and show understanding of words)

Fantasy Area

Children need to play to develop emotionally maturity, physical competences, life-skills and social intelligence.

Fantasy play is the fertile ground where children's ideas are scattered, nurtured and allowed to flourish.  In fantasy play, children are able to use abstract and representational thinking, allowing an empty pot to become a steamy aromatic soup.
